HON. JUSTICE A.I. IYAYI-LAMIKANRA HAS BEEN SWORN IN AS THE ACTING CHIEF JUDGE OF RIVERS STATE ON FRIDAY 15TH JANUARY, 2016.
In line with his avowed commitment to the rule of law and the provisions of the 1999 constitution (as amended), the Governor of Rivers State , Nyesom Ezenwo Wike on Friday 15th January 2016 swore in Justice Adama Iye Iyayi -Lamikanra as the Acting Chief Judge of Rivers State.
The new Acting Chief Judge of Rivers State is an indigene of Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State. She was married to Major Dr. Philip Iyayi, an indigene of Rivers State, but now of blessed memory.
